- NZ 1 Italy 13
- NZ 10 Japan 13
- NZ 13 Taipei 0
Because Japan lost to Taipei NZ qualified for the top 32 on point for and against.
First game in second round NZ lost to Germany but don’t know the score.
Second game is against Seychelles. If we lose that one we will play in the Coupe de Nation but should end up with a good ranking because of qualifying for the second round of the championship. I imagine that if we win against Seychelles we will play the last game in the barrage.

New Zealand won its second game. NZ - Seychelles 13-11.
This took us into the barrage to play Germany. Germany won 13 -6.
This takes us into the Coupe des Nations.
Congratulations to Ron, Murray and Simon for a very good result. While they got through to the top 32 with only 1 win, it was enough to go through, so good on them.
By my calculations by winning against the Seychelles in Round 2, their final tournament ranking should be 17th - 23rd. Probably ranked equal with Belgium!
Once again, congratulations to Ron, Murray and Simon. Good luck for the Coup de Nations.
