Records broken

The month of September has seen the most visitors to our NZPC Blog ever. September has broken all records and has helped with placing our Blog in second place (7181 hits) on petanque.org in the "most popular links" section. We've also seen large numbers of visitors from other shores. I like to think that this is due to the World Chamionships and the up-to-date reports and contributions from our people on the ground in Thailand, and the general membership here in NZ. All good stuff.

It is for this very reason that this Blog site and the PNZ should sort out their differences.

But the executive don't read this Blog so they won't get the message.

"....sort out their differences." Grant Hackett also said to me: "I am glad the Blog and PNZ are sorting out their differences." I have no idea what this means. Who do Myles and Grant think "the Blog" is, and what are the "differences"?. Myles and Grant are probably making a reference to the occasional controversial topic such as the 2007 debacle over the botched-up world championship selection process by PNZ.

This NZPC Blog is not about sorting out differences with PNZ or anyone. This Blog is about expressing different opinions and concerns - this includes the good and not so good.
