Looking at the graphics on the Women's and Junior World Championships website, you'd think it is a promo site for a family beach petanque party - slinky tops and straw hats.
A shame that such unprofessional graphics have been signed off by whoever is in charge. This is after all a World Championship.

Nothing wrong with the graphics, after all they are youth and if we are wanting to grow the sport we have to make it look inviting - IMHO a group of 60 plus players conservatively dressed would do our sport no favours.
You see more walking down Queen St auckland each and every day

Grant what you say about youth has a lot of merit, but it is also a women’s World Championship. What I was really wondering and getting at was: if we would also see these types of images for the men’s World Championships. I think not. I am sure the imagery for a men’s World Championships website would reflect the seriousness of the event – a World Championship and not a beach party. As you know, professional looking graphics do not have to be boring or conservative.

Grant, please do not bring those wicked Auckland ways down to us here in Christchurch :-)
